The countries that are most commonly considered to be included in the 'Far East' are China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. When you visit the Far East, the cities that you ought to visit are Hong Kong, Osaka, Beijing, Tokyo, Hangzhou, Macau, Shanghai, Kyoto, Nagoya, Seoul and Taipei. All these cities have different attractions, which put them at the top of the list of places that one should see.

When in Beijing, you should visit Tiananmen Square, which is located in the heart of the city. You should also go to visit the Great Wall of China. Other than these, there are other places such as the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Drum Tower and Bell Tower and the Summer Palace. Another place worth seeing is the Tokyo Tower, which is supposedly the replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. However, it is a little taller than the original one. If you believe in unadulterated shopping, then your ultimate visit should be to the Ginza where you can enjoy the sheer pleasure of shopping for many hours.

The most interesting sites in the Japanese city of Kyoto are the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace and the Nijo Castle. The Palace acted as the residence of the Imperial family in the year 1868. A temple that is considered a masterpiece and is the most popular among the other temples in Japan is the

Ginkakuji Temple. You should also visit the Path of Philosophy, which offers an opportunity to walk peacefully among trees and while passing the Sosui Canal and the Ginkakuji Temple.

Nagoya Castle, which is located in Nagoya, is also worth paying a visit to as it was constructed in 1612 by Ieyasu Tokugawa. For art lovers, Nagoya offers the Nagoya City Art Museum that has more than 2500 pieces of art, from local as well as international artists. In the Japanese city of Osaka, there is the Osaka Aquarium 'Kaiyukan', which is considered to be one of the largest aquariums in the world and has more than 580 species of marine animals from the Pacific. The Floating Garden Observatory in Osaka is also worth seeing.

The place that proffers to be the most attractive site of Seoul is the Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was built in 1394 by the Joseon Dynasty. The Lotte World of Seoul is the largest theme park of the world. Taiwan is home to the building which was the tallest in the world before Burj Dubai took the position. Some people might be interested in seeing the building along with many other attractions in the Far East.
